James City County Recreation Center Indoor Pool Update
The repair work at the James City County Recreation Center pool is complete. The necessary bonding work was completed and the repairs were inspected and stamped for approval by our consulting engineer. As a result, the pool and the hot tubs will re-open on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 8 a.m. If you chose to swim at the WISC pool, the last day to use that facility is Friday, Jan. 31. If you froze your pass during the closure, no action is required as your pass will be reinstated beginning Feb. 1. Registration for a new session of swim lessons begins Feb. 10 for a class start date of March 2. For more information on upcoming classes, please visit the Front Desk or call 757-259-4200. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this necessary repair.
