Busch Gardens Williamsburg announced a new roller coaster for 2020 on July 30. The new roller coaster, Pantheon, will be located in the Festa Italia area of the park. Pantheon will include four launches and will reach a top speed of 72.5 mph, making it the fastest multi-launch coaster in North America. This will be the fourth attraction in four years for the World’s Most Beautiful Theme Park.

Construction for Pantheon has already begun. The roller coaster will include 3,328 feet of track, a maximum height of 180 feet, two inversions and a 95° drop. The ride will have two trains with 20 riders per train. The roller coaster is manufactured by Intamin Worldwide, which as of 2019 had built 163 roller coasters worldwide along with drop towers, flume rides and rapids rides.
